In this pivotal role, you will supervise classes during short-term teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain engaged and learning continues effectively. This flexible position is ideal for individuals with strong behaviour-management skills, a calm and professional manner, and the ability to build rapport quickly with students. Key Responsibilities Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials to classes across Key Stages 3 and 4. Manage student behaviour in line with school policies, maintaining a positive, safe learning environment. Ensure pupils stay on task, offering support and clarification where needed (teaching is not required). Follow safeguarding procedures and escalate concerns appropriately. Experienced Estimator /QS - Tavistock - £60,000 - £70,000 K Salary depending on experience We are currently in search for an experienced Qs to support a Building and maintenance Contractor based out of Tavistock, carrying out residential and commercial related projects throughout Devon and Cornwall. The Estimator/QS can be paid as self-employed or on an employed basis, to join their busy and efficient team. Main Duties to include initial site visits, costing full construction projects including completing a full take off/measure of the works, obtaining quotations for subcontract packages and materials and building up rates to get a complete all-in cost for the project. Projects may involve traditional plan and specification, traditional bills of quantities or design and build projects without quantities.
