We are recruiting Setting-Out / Site Engineers for a major train station upgrade project in St Albans. This is a long-term opportunity offering a full year of consistent work on a high-profile rail infrastructure scheme.
Role Responsibilities:

Setting-out for civils and structural works across station platforms and surrounding infrastructure
*
Working closely with the site management team and subcontractors
*
Ensuring works are delivered accurately, safely, and to programme
*
Daily reporting, quality checks, and maintaining site records
*
Supporting the team with technical queries and problem solving
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Setting-Out Engineer or Site Engineer (rail/civils experience desirable)
*
Strong knowledge of setting-out equipment and site documentation
*
Valid CSCS card
*
Ability to start ASAP
*
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
What’s On Offer:

Long-term contract (minimum 12 months)

Competitive Outside IR35 day rates: £380–£460/day
*
Stable Monday–Friday working pattern (7:30am-5:30pm)
