Key Responsibilities
* Undertake non-standard and high-risk confined space entries in compliance with Level 3 requirements.
* Lead and support confined space operations including emergency rescue readiness.
* Set up, inspect, and maintain all confined space equipment, including gas monitors, escape sets, winches, and tripod systems.
* Complete risk assessments, method statements, permits-to-work, and all relevant documentation.
* Work collaboratively with supervisors, safety personnel, and project managers to ensure safe site operations.
* Identify hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and adhere to all H&S regulations and company policies.
Requirements
* City & Guilds Confined Spaces Level 3 (High Risk) certification – essential.
* Strong understanding of confined space legislation, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
* Experience working in utilities, drainage, tunnels, infrastructure, or similar environments.
* Good physical fitness and ability to work in challenging environments.
* Full UK driving licence (preferred).
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Additional certifications such as First Aid, CSCS, or Rescue qualifications are advantageous.
