This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate subject specialist who enjoys delivering high-quality lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3 and KS4. The role As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, well-structured lessons that support pupils' scientific understanding, exam preparation and overall development. You'll work closely with the school's science department, pastoral team and senior leaders to create a positive learning environment where students feel motivated, supported and valued. The school are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive and committed to high teaching standards. Responsibilities Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the KS3 and KS4 science curriculum Creating a supportive and stimulating classroom environment Assessing, tracking and reporting on pupil progress Supporting both academic and personal development of students Managing behaviour in line with school policies Working effectively with colleagues, support staff and pastoral teams Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and staffAbout the school Supportive and established secondary team Excellent behaviour culture and pastoral support Well-resourced classrooms and specialist science facilities Easily accessible from Chester, Ellesmere Port, Wirral and surrounding areasThe ideal candidate Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 Confident, enthusiastic and able to motivate learners Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, proactive and committed to high standards Understanding of safeguarding and secondary school policiesSafeguarding Prospero Teaching is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
