Role Overview:
We are looking for a Driver's Mate to assist with the delivery of furniture and goods across Leyland, Preston, and the wider Lancashire area. This role involves working alongside a delivery driver, helping to load and unload items safely and efficiently. No driving is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the driver with loading and unloading furniture and goods.
Ensure items are handled carefully to avoid damage.
Help with navigating delivery locations and providing excellent customer service.
Maintain a safe working environment during lifting and moving tasks.
Requirements:
Physically fit to lift heavy items safely.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Good team player with excellent communication skills.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
