We are working with a fast-growing UK food manufacturer that is investing heavily in innovation, new production capability and long-term category growth. They are now looking to appoint a commercially driven National Account Manager to support and accelerate their retail ambitions.
This is a high-impact role with a strong new business focus, targeting major UK grocery retailers while also developing an existing key account. The position sits within a business that has a clear strategy, an active innovation pipeline and the infrastructure in place to scale.
The role

Drive new business opportunities across UK grocery retail, with an initial focus on winning new listings

Manage and grow an existing retail account, building long-term, value-led partnerships
*
Own commercial negotiations, JBPs, forecasts and revenue delivery
*
Work closely with operations, supply chain, category and marketing to deliver growth plans
*
Play a key role in bringing new products and innovation to market
About you
*
Proven experience as a National Account Manager or Senior Account Manager within food retail
*
Strong new business and negotiation capability with major grocery multiples
*
Commercial, proactive and comfortable operating in a growth-focused environment
*
Confident managing cross-functional stakeholders and senior buyers
Contract details
This role is offered as a 9-month fixed-term contract initially, with a strong likelihood of moving to a permanent position based on performance and ongoing business growth.
Salary is up to £75,000 plus package.
