RATES: HGV C+E Driver – CLASS 1 (including holiday pay OR rolled up)
Monday to Friday Days: from £16.00 up to £17.93 per hour
Monday to Friday Nights: from £17.00 up to £19.61 per hour
4 on, 4 off Days: from £16.50 up to £18.49 per hour
4 on, 4 off Nights: from £18.00 up to £20.17 per hour
Friday to Sunday Days: from £19.00 up to £21.29 per hour
Friday to Sunday Nights: from £19.50 up to £21.85 per hour
HG Recruitment are recruiting temporary HGV Class 1 Drivers in partnership with a lucrative long-term client based in CHESTER CH1 area. We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Curtainside Drivers to carry out safe, efficient curbside/kerbside deliveries to commercial and residential locations. The role involves operating curtainside trailers, securing loads correctly, and delivering goods in compliance with all road safety, transport, and company regulations.
Duties:
Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
Securing load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
Always provide excellent customer service and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary
Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills
Be a good timekeeper and be able to work unsupervised
Possess an Enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first class customer service
Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work

Requirements:
HGV CLASS 1 licence – minimum 6 months experience
Digi Tacho & CPC cards
Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements
Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Driver’s Hours)
Good national geographical awareness
Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills
Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised
Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering first class customer service
Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work
