The Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a live highways project in Newton Abbot on a contract basis. This is a long-term opportunity on a well-established scheme, suitable for a proactive engineer with solid highways and civils experience.
Key Responsibilities
Setting out for highways works including drainage, kerbing, earthworks and pavement construction
Producing and maintaining accurate site records and as-built drawings
Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements
Working closely with Site Management, subcontractors and the wider project team
Ensuring all works comply with current health & safety standards
Essential Criteria
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering / highways projects
Civil Engineering qualification
Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office and Trimle
Strong understanding of health & safety policies and procedures
Ability to prioritise time-critical work
Excellent communication and liaison skills
SMSTS
First Aid
Relevant CSCS card
Full UK driving licence
