TeacherActive is working closely with a number of welcoming schools in Milton Keynes who are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team full time, starting as soon as possible.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
The Role:
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and behaviour support
Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Encouraging students’ academic, emotional, and social development
The Ideal Candidate:
Has experience working with children with SEN (school-based or transferable experience considered)
Is patient, caring, and resilient
Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
