Rate: £700–£900 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: Open to someone in London, Leeds or Edinburgh
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to join a leading consultancy on a 24-month contract. This is a key role driving the delivery of end-to-end cybersecurity solutions across a complex technology transformation programme, ensuring solutions are secure, compliant, and aligned with enterprise strategies.
You will work with cross-functional teams, including Technology, Security, Product, Enterprise Architecture, and Operations, to design, implement, and oversee cybersecurity solutions that protect enterprise systems and data while supporting business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the full lifecycle of cybersecurity architecture initiatives, from concept and scoping through to delivery and benefits realization
Design and produce architectural artefacts, including high-level and detailed solution architectures, aligned with enterprise standards, business requirements, and security best practices
Support project teams and product groups in implementing cybersecurity solutions, resolving technical dependencies, and providing guidance on viable alternatives
Collaborate with enterprise architecture and product teams to define cybersecurity strategies, standards, and roadmaps
Review and quality-assure deliverables from internal teams and external suppliers to ensure compliance with business, regulatory, and non-functional requirements
Identify opportunities for technology-driven innovation and assess emerging cybersecurity trends for potential adoptionSkills and Experience:
Proven experience as a Security Architect designing multi-platform products, systems, and solutions
Experience delivering end-to-end cybersecurity solutions across complex programmes and projects
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity domains such as Threat Detection and Response, Identity and Access Management, Infrastructure Security, or Information Protection
Hands-on experience with AWS technologies and cloud security architectures
Familiarity with formal architectural frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF) and architecture modelling tools
Professional security certification (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent)Package:
