MEP Quantity Surveyor (Contract)

Rate: £400 – £480 per day (dependent on experience and relevant project history)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of a technically complex laboratory project in Woking. This is a long-term contract opportunity working with an established project team on a high-value scheme.
Key Responsibilities
Full commercial management of mechanical and electrical packages from pre-construction through to project completion
Cost planning, forecasting, and regular commercial reporting
Managing variations, change control, and valuations
Preparation and agreement of interim applications and final accounts
Subcontractor procurement and commercial management
Working closely with project managers, engineers, and client-side teams
Ensuring commercial compliance in a highly regulated environment
Requirements
Proven experience working as an MEP Quantity Surveyor
Previous experience on laboratory, life sciences, pharmaceutical, cleanroom, or similarly complex technical projects is preferred
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services packages
Ability to work on live projects with strict commercial controls
Available to work on site in Woking
