Position: Setting Out Engineer/ Site Engineer

Type of work: Piling, groundworks & RC
We are currently seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join our growing team delivering groundworks, piling, and foundation packages across residential and commercial projects in London.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurate setting out using Total Station and GPS equipment
Establishing gridlines, datums, and benchmarks
Setting out foundations (strip, trench fill, raft, pile caps & ground beams)
Overseeing piling works (predominantly bored piling)
Setting out drainage and service runs
Reporting to a Project Engineer
Working closely with site managers, other Site Engineer and operatives on site and subcontractors
Requirements:
Proven experience in groundworks and foundation projects
Strong knowledge of piling and substructure works
Ability to read and interpret structural and civil drawings
Proficient with surveying instruments
Good understanding of health & safety regulations
CSCS card (essential)
