Job Purpose
The post-holder is responsible for scheduling patients for chemotherapy treatment, ensuring the efficient utilisation of treatment areas, nursing staff, and radiographer resources. This role plays a key part in supporting the smooth delivery of cancer services and ensuring that patients receive timely care.
The Scheduler is also responsible for the accurate and timely entry of patient information into the Patient Administration System (PAS), following the Trust's standards for real-time data entry. The role requires meticulous attention to confidentiality and adherence to all Trust Policies and Procedures related to data quality and information governance.
