Job Title: Durability & Robustness Simulation Engineer - (phone number removed) The Opportunity Virtual Engineering supports vehicle or system programmes with concept simulation, modelling expertise and tools from research through to the delivery phase to JOB1. Within the Durability and Robustness (D&R) team, we look at the effects of extreme impacts onto the vehicle and ensure that it is engineered to handle those. In this role, you will support the CAE design verification programme activities within D&R and have an opportunity to develop modelling techniques for more efficient and accurate simulations. Job Purpose Undertake the maintenance and repair, to a range of vehicles and machines and plant equipment, to the required quality standards, in an efficient and cost effective manner. Key Tasks Undertake planned service and safety inspections of vehicles and equipment. Diagnose faults, recommend and undertake cost effective repairs Repair of vehicles/equipment as instructed. Carry out auto electrical repairs. Order spares at stores. Maintain a clean and tidy work area. Attend breakdowns and undertake vehicle / equipment recoveries.
