Location: Central Cambridge Contract: Temporary (2-3 Weeks) Pay: £20.00 per hour We're recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to support a busy student accommodation site in Central Cambridge. This is a hands-on role where you'll help ensure the building remains safe, well-maintained and welcoming for students and visitors.   Key Responsibilities Carry out general building fabric maintenance tasks. Complete basic painting and decorating to maintain communal areas and accommodation. Repair and replace door locks, handles and other fixtures. Change light bulbs and complete minor electrical replacements (where appropriate). Undertake basic plumbing repairs such as replacing taps and fixing minor leaks. Respond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. Conduct routine inspections and report any defects or maintenance issues.
