Mechanical Plant Fitter – Large Plant Equipment Monday to Friday, Hours: 7:00am – 3:00pm A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Plant Fitter to join a well‑established engineering operation working with large plant large mechanical assemblies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on engineering, fault‑finding, and working on machinery that genuinely tests your skillset. You’ll be responsible for the maintenance, overhaul and repair of a range of heavy mechanical equipment. Daily tasks include: Stripping, inspecting and rebuilding mechanical components Working with gearboxes, drivetrains and large assemblies Using overhead cranes, jibs and lifting equipment safely Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance Diagnosing mechanical faults and completing repairs to a high standard Reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering documentation Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety procedures and quality standards What...
