Working alongside qualified technicians, you will support the repair, maintenance and testing of aircraft safety equipment, including buoyancy devices, life rafts, evacuation slides, oxygen equipment and associated sub-assemblies. This is a physical, hands-on workshop role. Many tasks are completed in pairs and involve positioning, folding and compressing fairly heavy materials correctly. Product-specific training and task instruction will be provided, with the opportunity to take on additional responsibility as competence is demonstrated.
