The Principal Mechanical Engineer is a key role that leads the mechanical engineering aspects of the development of new radar technologies. Reporting to the Project Engineering Manager, this role must have an expert general mechanical knowledge with experience in the design, build, integration and test of complex mechanical systems. The holder will themselves be a subject matter expert in at least one area of Mechanical Engineering, for example, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Finite Element Analysis, Structures or Thermal Systems.
