This contract position involves designing, testing, and optimising aerodynamic surfaces for high-performance Formula 1 cars and road supercars. Key Responsibilities: CFD and Testing: Analyse computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations and run physical tests using 60% scale models in the wind tunnel. Concept Generation: Create and iterate new aerodynamic geometry and surface concepts using CAD tools. Cross-Functional Work: Collaborate closely with design engineers, model makers, and trackside teams to translate concepts into physical parts.
