Due to the award of a major Hydro Electric scheme in Scotland, our client a world renowned Main Contractor are seeking the services of a Design manager to support the works which include Earthworks, Roads and Tunnelling. Managing the design and engineering activities duties will include: 1. Completion of design on time and within budget including successful completion of design reviews, stage gates, construction reviews and hazard/risk reduction procedures. 2. To provide technical support on the project. 3. To ensure health, safety, welfare, environment, quality are considered as a core function of design at all stages, decisions and outcomes clearly communicated to construction and operation teams To be considered for this, you will have a Degree in Civil Engineering and ideally be MICE.
