Reporting to a European supplier of leather upholstery/trim this role will be based onsite at a luxury automotive OEM in Warwickshire.
Duties will include:
* Examining products, ensuring they have attained the required quality such as surface defects like scratches, cracks, misalignment, discoloration, or improper finishing using the naked eye or with magnification tools as needed.
* Adhering to detailed guidelines and criteria to consistently identify potential issues based on established quality standards.
* Separating conforming products from non-conforming ones, marking defective items for rework, repair, or scrap.
* Reporting identified issues to quality control personnel or production teams to initiate corrective actions.
Ideally you will have experience/knowledge of leather trim and stitching/joining, preferably within the automotive sector including:
