Provide EHS leadership and guidance on a land clearance project, ensuring all activities are carried out safely and in line with legal and company requirements
Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement appropriate control measures
Develop, review, and maintain method statements, risk assessments (RAMS), and EHS documentation
Ensure compliance with UK health, safety, and environmental legislation and relevant industry standards
Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to agreed safety procedures
Investigate incidents, near misses, and environmental breaches, and implement corrective actions
Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and ongoing safety training to site personnel
Liaise with project stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory bodies as required
Support environmental management, including waste handling, biodiversity considerations, and pollution prevention
