Behaviour Mentor – Alternative Provision
Are you a resilient and motivated Behaviour Mentor looking to support young people who face barriers to learning? Do you have experience working with secondary-aged students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviours? This alternative provision is looking to appoint a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their supportive team.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students both in and out of the classroom, providing 1-2-1 support and helping them to manage their behaviour and re-engage with education. You will build strong, positive relationships with students, support emotional regulation and be on hand to assist staff with behaviour management when required. This is a rewarding role where your support can have a lasting impact on students’ progress and wellbeing. Previous experience working in a PRU, alternative provision or residential care setting is highly desirable.
