Service & Maintenance Engineer – Emergency Lighting & Fire Alarms (Subcontract) V7 are seeking skilled Service & Maintenance Engineers to work on a large-scale public sector project in the North East. This is a long-running contract with our national client, offering consistent, ongoing work and great potential for long-term subcontract opportunities. The role involves servicing and maintaining emergency lighting systems and fire alarm systems across a range of public buildings, including housing, education facilities, and care environments. Role Overview Carry out routine servicing, testing, and compliance checks on emergency lighting in line with BS 5266. Service, fault-find, and repair both addressable and conventional fire alarm systems in accordance with BS 5839. Respond to reactive maintenance calls and complete remedial works where necessary.
