Job Title: Engine Builder Location: Barton Under Needwood, Staffordshire Duration: 3 months plus Hours :7am till 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7am till 1pm on a Friday. Own transport recommended due to location We are currently recruiting for a number of Engine Builders for permanent roles to work within the Rail industry based in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Key Accountabilities/ responsibilities: - To be able to strip and re-build all the mechanical components of an engine, as per the work instruction. - To be able to work to OEM manuals. - To read and interpret assembly specifications and manuals, to plan assembly and build operations. - The ability to verify conformance of parts to stock lists, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers. - To liaise with other business units to get the task completed. - The ability to adhere to strict deadlines. - To accurately complete documentation to the company's standards - To ensure that waste is disposed...
