Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Biomedical Scientist in Clinical Biochemistry/Immunology. The service supports all hospital wards and departments, as well as GPs, clinics, and private hospitals across central and south Buckinghamshire and beyond. The central laboratory is based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, with a satellite laboratory at Wycombe Hospital. Staff are expected to work at either site as required by the service. Main duties of the job As a Specialist Biomedical Scientist in Clinical Biochemistry, you will be responsible for processing laboratory tests on patient samples across one of four sub-sections of the laboratory on a rotational basis. Applicants must hold HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist and possess strong knowledge in Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology. Ideally, you will also have experience in personnel management.
