A global medical device company in Ireland are looking for an R&D Design Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. The purpose of the role will be design & development of their medical devices in order to take their products to market. Responsibilities Design, prototyping, test design, reviews, evaluations, V&V and protocols Preparation & presentation of designs Risk analysis & management Process development engineering Introduce new equipment, materials & technologiesRequirements Mechanical engineering, Material Science, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent degree Experience working as an R&D Engineer on medical device products Minimum 1-5 years experience Understanding regulatory requirements Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. The start date is for ASAP/June. The initial contract length is for 12 months, with multiple extension options after.
