Our client is a provider of engineering services to a range of industry sectors including manufacturing and rail. This includes welding and Inspection. Due to an increase in workload they are currently looking for an experienced Welders to be based in Crewe The work will include carrying out repairs and modifications on a range of items including rail rolling stock. In particular this welding role will involve cutting out corroded and cracked components parts and welding them again, ensuring they are safe to go back in to service Applicants must be experienced Welders with the ability to carry out MIG/MAG, TIG and Manual Metal Arc (Stick) or at least a combination of the above. A current coding would also be desirable. Previous experience of working with heavier gauge Mild Steel and using tools such as air gauges, drills and grinders is also essential for this Welders role.
