We are currently looking for Riggers to join one of our clients on a contract basis. Working on a variety of heavy engineering/engineering construction sites around the UK and Ireland The client is a market-leading manufacturer, supplier and installer of specialist rotating equipment to a range of industry sectors including heavy engineering, power generation and petro-chemical. The role will include carrying out a range of rigging duties including helping to remove a wide range of equipment, carrying out slinging and working on the lift and movement of a range of equipment during planned outages. Sites are based around the the UK Applicants must be experienced Riggers ideally with a proven track record of working in a heavy engineering/engineering construction environment. We're representing a special purpose machine building business, who are looking to recruit a Mechanical assembly fitter to their Doncaster operation to support high level of orders. This is a temporary contract for 12 weeks and could be extended due to business needs. If you are looking for a role in a fast paced packaging background then look no further. The Person: * Experienced assembling and building special purpose machinery. * Ability to read engineering drawings. * Experienced with hand-tools. * Effective communicator. The Role: * Assembly of machinery to customer specifics. * Working as a team to ensure machinery is assembled to specifics. * Working with the stores to ensure all parts are available.
