We're supporting our customer based in Coventry in recruiting an experienced Battery Engineer to join their team on a maternity‑cover contract. This role is ideal for a technically strong engineer with deep expertise in battery systems, thermal management, and test operations-someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, problem‑solving environment and can work independently while guiding junior team members. As a Battery Engineer , you will be accountable for the design, validation, and optimisation of battery packs and associated systems. This includes modules, upper and lower shells, HV & LV harnesses, the BDU, and all thermal management schemes-including detailed water‑cooled pipeline design.
