Mechanical Engineer Location: Oswestry Contract Length: Temp to Perm Pay: £15-16 an hour Position Summary Working under general supervision to complete Pre-Delivery Inspections, examinations, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and both minor and major maintenance on a range of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms, including vertical masts, scissor lifts, telescopic booms, and articulating booms. Responsibilities of a Mechanical Engineer Inspect major components across a variety of equipment, replacing parts as required. Complete daily reports and ensure all paperwork is accurate. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical systems. Carry out warranty repairs. Provide technical support to customers and workshop personnel, including training where required.
