We are looking for anyone with Training officer experience, Chemistry automation (Roche/Abbott analyser experience), Special Chemistry(Toxicology, Mass spec, HPLC, Electrophoresis experience), Haematology and BT experience( Abbot/Sysmex/Stago/Werfen/Otho Vision analyser) and familiar with Winpath IT and Qpulse. Could be placed in any of the below hospitals dependent on experience Worthing Hospital St Richards Hospital Royal Sussex County Hospital Princess Royal Hospital Mon-Fri 9am-6pm to start with, once trained to cover lates and nights and weekend days/nights - 37.5 hours

Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Biomedical Scientist in Haematology and Blood Transfusion to join our dynamic Blood Sciences Department. You will be required to work across our central laboratory at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and our satellite site at Wycombe Hospital, with deployment to either location as needed to support service delivery. You will support patient investigations by preparing, storing, and using reagents and consumables appropriately, performing manual laboratory procedures such as precision pipetting, reagent preparation, and complex analytical testing.
