We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer to support a portfolio of National Grid infrastructure projects. The role involves leading the civil and structural design elements for substation, overhead line, and other transmission‑related assets, ensuring compliance with National Grid's technical specifications and governance processes. This is an Outside IR35 contract position, offering hybrid working with on‑site collaboration. Key Responsibilities Lead and produce civil and structural designs for National Grid transmission projects (substations, foundations, compounds, cable routes, OHL works, access roads, drainage, etc.).
