An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Public Rights of Way Officer to come and join a busy client in the Cheshire area.
The main duties of the experienced Public Rights of Way Officer are:
Manage and process Public Rights of Way applications, including diversions, extinguishments, creations, and reclassifications.
Support the maintenance and review of the Definitive Map and associated legal records.
Investigate and respond to enquiries, complaints, and requests relating to Public Rights of Way matters.
Provide professional advice on legal and procedural matters relating to Rights of Way and public access.
Carry out enforcement activities to address obstructions, misuse, or unlawful activity affecting Rights of Way networks.
Prepare legal documentation, reports, and case papers to support enforcement action, litigation, or prosecution proceedings.
