A regional affordable housing provider are seeking an experienced Maintenance Surveyor to join their property services team. The Maintenance Surveyor will be responsible for delivering an effective maintenance service to the organisations tenants and housing stock as well as working with external contractors. You will have excellent knowledge of Health & safety legislation as well up to date knowledge of all current statutory compliance regulations (asbestos, legionella, gas, electrical, fire safety) Core duties will be to: Carry out responsive repair & voids inspections pre- and post-works inspections to ensure the right work is completed to a high standard that meets the customers' needs Be accountable for managing maintenance work ensuring compliance, H & S, quality, and exceptional service is delivered to tenants across all properties and communal facilities. £12.71 per hour (£28,089k annually) plus bonus (OTE around £36k) As a Vehicle Inspector, you'll be responsible for: Conducting vehicle inspections following established procedures, reporting findings via a PDA report template  Complete used vehicle condition reports  Collaborate with team members to maintain daily site inspections  Engage with customer contacts to ensure high quality service delivery Travel to various BCA sites within your agreed region will be regular, however, travel to further distances will be expected if and when needed What we're looking for To excel in this role, you must have: An NVQ Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) Comprehensive mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair  An understanding of vehicle diagnostics, software updates, and electric/hybrid vehicles (advantageous) Strong written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively at all levels  A full UK driving licence  INDCCP INDCCP

The duties will be being a charge hand leading a team of operatives and to carry out duties such as Hedge cutting, strimming, using pedestrian mowers and ride on, grass cutting/maintenance, weed control and all general grounds maintenance duties. Working Hours: 7am till 3.30pm, Monday to Friday plus overtime Pay rate: £14.57 - £15.12 p/h inc. hol. pay Experience and a drivers license is essential We require candidates to have good experience and knowledge of the industry PA1/PA6 is also strongly desired but not essential.
