This role is ideally suited to qualified electricians with a strong background in industrial installations, maintenance, and fault finding, rather than domestic work. This placement will be between 6 to 12 months. I am looking for a fire door inspector to work on behalf of a leading housing association in the Sunderland area working in a repairs and Maintenance team whilst working closely with the Compliance Manager. As a fire door inspector in the Repairs and Maintenance Team you will carry out minor repairs as identified from the inspections and report all findings including remedial works due or carried out to the compliance manager.
