Procurement Engineer; 6 month contract; based at Samlesbury; 37 hours; £22.15 per hour. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Engineer to support BAE Systems within their Air Sector at the Samlesbury site. This role is working in a busy team of 10 and is a hybrid role (working Tues/Weds/Thurs in the office). Key tasks; - Develop and maintain supplier relationships, manage supplier performance and improvement activities. - Manage the order book, including raising orders, resolving queries, maintaining forecast dates - Develop and maintain relationships with internal customers. - Working closely with other functions across the business to manage the order book.
