Compliance Surveyor — Fire Safety (Interim, 6 months) Contract: Interim / 6 months Reports to: Compliance Manager / Head of Property Services Location: Borough-wide site visits About the Role We’re seeking an experienced Fire Safety Compliance Surveyor to support day‑to‑day fire safety across the council’s housing stock. You will deliver and oversee Type 1 Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs), manage remedial works, and ensure robust, audit‑ready compliance records. They are looking for a Resident Liaison Officer to act as the key link between residents and operational teams, ensuring works are delivered smoothly while maintaining a high level of resident satisfaction. This is a customer-facing role where communication, organisation and empathy are key, particularly when managing residents through potentially disruptive works.
