The Resident Engagement Officer (RPEEP) is responsible for delivering resident-focused engagement activities that support compliance with The Fire Safety (Residential Evacuation Plans) (England) Regulations 2025. The role ensures that residents who may have difficulty self-evacuating are identified, supported, and actively involved in developing person-centred evacuation arrangements. The postholder will work collaboratively with residents, building safety team, fire consultants and Fire & Rescue Services to ensure inclusive engagement, informed consent, and effective evacuation planning.
