Compliance Surveyor — Fire Safety (Interim, 6 months) Contract: Interim / 6 months Reports to: Compliance Manager / Head of Property Services Location: Borough-wide site visits About the Role We’re seeking an experienced Fire Safety Compliance Surveyor to support day‑to‑day fire safety across the council’s housing stock. You will deliver and oversee Type 1 Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs), manage remedial works, and ensure robust, audit‑ready compliance records. Role Purpose To ensure the council remains fully compliant with statutory and regulatory responsibilities relating to Fire Safety and Asbestos Management across its housing stock. The postholder will manage safety programmes, maintain accurate compliance data, oversee contractor performance, and ensure residents’ homes meet all relevant building safety requirements.
