6 Months Contract Full-Time, Temporary – 36.25 hours per week. We are delighted to be supporting Basildon Council to recruit Senior Procurement & Contract Management Advisor on a full-time, temporary basis. Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to be on-site a minimum of 1 day per week. Main Purpose: Responsible for supporting the organisation in developing and delivering a range of service projects through robust business cases and detailed commercial programmes and plans. The Commercial programme is directly linked to the Council’s Medium Term Financial Strategy and the post holder provides strong financial governance; as well as tracking progress and key dependencies, maintaining issue logs, projects plans and ensuring robust risk management.
