Job Description: Car Park Attendant Derriford Hospital PL6 8DH Band 2 - £12.71/hr (Weekdays), £17.64/hr (Weeknights and Saturdays) & £22.90/hr (Sundays & Bank Holidays) Band 2 - £12.71 per hour Monday– Friday, £17.73 per hour on Saturdays and £23.08 on Sundays Covering two shifts per week, days & nights from 6.00am – 6.00pm & 6.00pm – 6.00am plus potential for additional hours Key Responsibilities • Patrolling & enforcement: Monitoring car parks, ensuring rules are followed • Barrier & traffic management: Especially during busy peak times • Customer support: Helping at the parking desk and assisting visitors • Drop-off zone control: Keeping traffic flowing safely • Cash handling: Collecting and counting parking fees • Site upkeep: Cleaning signs, litter picking, bin emptying, maintaining general cleanliness • Weather duties: Gritting paths, clearing snow when needed • Support roles: Assisting grounds maintenance, security monitoring, and mobility...

The role of the Housekeeping Team is to assist the housekeeping department to ensure that all accommodation is cleaned and maintained to the highest standard after each occupancy and to make sure all faults, damages or potential problems in our accommodation are reported immediately to the appropriate person. The successful candidate must be flexible, enthusiastic, take pride in their work and be able to work on their own initiative as well as part of the team.
