Principal Systems Engineer Edinburgh OR Newcastle - fully onsite 12-month contract Paying up to £70p/h (Inside IR35) Role overview: Our client is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to contribute to the continued development of an in-service radar system, by supporting the planning and analysis of radar trials (rig-based and flight trials). Key Responsibilities: Work with large datasets from rig and flight trials, and use analytical techniques to evaluate radar performance against requirements and raise Systems Problem Reports (SPR) for detailed investigation. Apply signal processing, image processing, and object classification techniques to extract actionable insights.
