We’re looking for a credible interim leader who can quickly step in, provide stability and direction, and actively drive progress across strategy, performance, partnership, and community engagement.
Candidates will need to demonstrate substantial senior leadership experience in strategy/performance functions in particular, strong team management capability, and a track record of delivering results at pace in complex organisational settings. They will need to have council experience and political sensitivity.
They need to be able to:
Lead Strategy and Performance in particular, bringing strong, demonstrable experience in these areas.
Be able to provide managerial oversight of Community Engagement, ensuring this work is effectively coordinated and aligned with wider priorities.
Manage and mobilise a new team and service, including onboarding, setting direction, and quickly establishing effective ways of working.
