Job Purpose To prepare, mask, and apply aerospace-grade paint and protective coatings to aircraft structural and composite components including doors, wings, radomes, fairings, and associated airframe parts, ensuring compliance with aviation quality, safety, and OEM specifications. Key Responsibilities Prepare aircraft components for painting including cleaning, degreasing, sanding, filling, and surface correction. Carry out masking and demasking of complex aircraft assemblies to protect non-painted areas and sensitive systems. Mix, prepare, and apply primers, base coats, and topcoats using HVLP, air-assisted, or electrostatic spray equipment. Paint structural components such as wings, doors, radomes, and fairings to strict aerospace standards. Ensure correct paint thickness, adhesion, finish quality, and colour matching in line with technical drawings and specifications.
