Maintenance Assistant(Handyman) Canterbury | Temporary assignment 8 weeks| Mon-Fri | £12.71 per hour 37.5 hours a week. We're looking for a Maintenance Assistant to help prepare student accommodation for the new academic intake. This is a practical, hands‑on role supporting the on‑site maintenance team. Main Duties General maintenance after student move‑out: painting, basic tiling, minor repairs, plumbing support, drain clearing, furniture assembly, and moving mattresses/white goods. Assist with statutory checks: fire safety equipment, water temperature monitoring, shower head cleaning, and emergency lighting tests. Support with rubbish removal and occasional cleaning.
