This is a Temp Assignment – 6 weeks (Could be extended) THE DUTIES: * Carry out planned maintenance and responsive repairs on HGVs, light commercial vehicles, cars, accessible buses, plant, and associated equipment to a high standard. * Diagnose faults and complete mechanical, electrical, and general vehicle repairs efficiently and safely. * Respond promptly to vehicle breakdowns and attend roadside or on-site breakdowns and accidents as required. * Perform MOT testing for Class 4, 5, and 7 vehicles in accordance with current regulations and standards. * Conduct private hire and hackney carriage compliance inspections and tests safely and competently. * Take appropriate enforcement action where vehicles are suspended following compliance testing.
