Gardener / Grounds Maintenance Operative Location: Croydon, CR0 4TQ Pay: £12.50 per hour Hours: 35 hours per week Contract: 12‑week+ ongoing Driving Licence: Essential The Role We’re looking for a reliable Gardener / Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our Estate Services team in Croydon. You’ll help deliver a high‑quality gardening and grounds service across our estates. All tools, machinery, uniform, safety boots and PPE are provided. This is an outdoor, physical role working in all weather conditions. Key Responsibilities • Carry out a range of grounds maintenance tasks including weeding, planting, pruning, dead‑heading, hoeing, cutting back and watering communal beds. • Cut and maintain lawns and grassed areas using pedestrian mowers, tractors, ride‑on mowers, strimmers and brush cutters, including fertiliser and pesticide application. • Operate tools and machinery safely and in line with company and manufacturer guidelines. • Support small landscaping projects to improve...
