Adult social worker Purpose of the job Under the supervision of the Team Manager and Senior Practitioner the post-holder will ensure that needs of adult social care clients are identified, safeguarded and met. You will have practical knowledge and experience of social work practice within the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and demonstrate the ability to work within the Mental Health Act 1983 and 2007, Human Rights Act 1998 and Care Act 2014. The post holder will apply the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards procedures to the assessment and review process and be able to practice independently in the Best Interest Assessor role.
