Children and Young People’s Worker – additional needs About Us: Peterborough Women’s Aid was formed in 1975. The organisation has grown since that time providing not only safe and secure accommodation to women and children escaping domestic abuse, but also provides specific an Advice Line Services and Outreach. We currently have an opportunity for a Children and Young Peoples Worker, additional needs specialist, to join Peterborough Women’s Aid. You will provide practical and emotional support to children and young people who have additional needs and are living in our refuge. You will need a flexible approach to supporting children and young people as you maybe required to undertake some work outside of office hours. In addition, you will participate in an Out of Hours service, providing on call support to refuge service users at evenings and weekends.
